We have called this section of our site “Bible Principles” because the topics you will find here are those that deal with the important concepts and ideas that the Bible speaks about. So if you’re looking for articles about things like moral issues, concepts such as “love thy neighbor” or biblical grace, questions about God and His dealings with us, what He is like, His character and values . . . that sort of thing . . . this page is your starting point.
Have you ever asked yourself the question “Why does God hide himself?” Why doesn’t He visibly show Himself to people at large so that there would be no question about His existence and power? What made Him decide that He would require mankind to believe in a God that no one (in their right mind) has actually seen? You’ll find the answers among the articles listed below.
What about moral issues such as divorce and remarriage? Many have claimed that biblical teaching on this matter is very clear and that the “rules” are simple. But is it really like that? You’ll find the answer in our article entitled “Love Thy Neighbor as Thyself”. Why would the answer be found in a topic like that? You may be surprised!
What about prayer? We’re told that the Old Testament prophet Daniel prayed three times a day. That’s a lot of praying! Why has God instituted this form of communication that we call “prayer”. Is anyone actually listening to our words as we speak them? How does the exercise of praying help us? What about praying for others, especially those who “despitefully use us and persecute us”? We will discuss these bible principles and questions in the articles you will find here.
There are so many issues and questions which can fall under the category of Bible Principles. If there is something that you would particularly like some thoughts on, please feel free to say so in the “comments” box at the bottom of this page.
